Thank you Pearl. Yes, the devastating effects of deforestation and runaway palm oil production mean that more and more of these incredible great apes are disappearing from the face of the earth. It’s time for people to realize that if we are going to truly save the orangutan from extinction there needs to be serious and continued coordination amongst like-minded organizations and more pressure put on the powers that be in Indonesia.
